The State Opera house of Stuttgart belongs to State Theatre Stuttgart, the largest three-section theatre in Europe. It consists of Staatsoper Stuttgart, Stuttgarter Ballet and Schauspiel Stuttgart.

The monumental building was built from 1909 to 1912, by Munich architect Max Littmann and was placed under monument protection in 1924.

The “Große Haus" hall was renovated in original style, according to the in 1982 rediscovered plans of Littmann. It can accommodate an audience of 1400 people and has a 19m. wide and 23m deep stage.

The Staatsoper belongs to Germany’s most prestigious performing arts theatres and was awarded with the title “Opera house of the year” in 1994, 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2006.

Sushi, fusion food, and a gigantic Buddha is probably the simplest way to describe the world famous Parisian bar & restaurant that opened in Beirut in summer 2004.

As you walk through the main entrance located on the Riad Solh Square it feels as though you are entering a theater. The Buddha Bar Beirut took the foundations of an old theater to give 2 massive floors with an extended ceiling and plenty of space. If you’re the chilled out type, dinner downstairs is probably for you; Upstairs is where the action takes place. A great mix of music keeps the heads bobbing all night, all the time.

Buddha bar also has it’s own CD label, with the typical Buddha atmosphere tracks.

The Sessions is a new jam-session concept where top and upcoming artists join for an “in the round” concert in a cosy atmosphere.

One of the features of the concept “Hilfiger Session” is that the band is not positioned on stage, but in the middle of the venue, for an “in the round” concert experience. The audience is sitting around the band on beanbags.

Top audio quality has been recognized by THE as essential for the experience, which underlines the fashion company’s strong connection with music.

Named in honour of BAFTA supporter Sir Run Run Shaw, the Hong Kong-based film and television producer and distributor, this theatre complements the Princess Anne Theatre of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts on Piccadilly Circus, London. The Run Run Shaw theatre holds up to 40 seats and is suitable for small screenings, while this theatre offers state-of-the-art sound and visual equipment including Digital Projection, DTS ES Sound System and Alcons CRMS sound system.
